Who Needs In-Home Care?

In-home care is for anyone who needs assistance with daily living activities — bathing, managing medications, walking, eating, dressing, mobility support, and other tasks that support everyday independence. It's appropriate for adults living with chronic conditions, age-related challenges, or disabilities who want to remain safely at home.

When Is In-Home Care Appropriate?

In-home care is most appropriate when a person's chronic condition is worsening, or when there are acute changes in their physical or mental health that make daily tasks difficult or unsafe to manage alone. A referral from a primary care physician is required to begin services.

Can I Call In My Own Referral?

We're happy to answer any questions about our services — but in order to begin care, a physician's order is required. If you feel you or your loved one would benefit from in-home care, speak with your doctor first. We can help guide that conversation during your free assessment.

How Quickly Can Care Begin?

In many cases, we can match your loved one with a caregiver within the same week of your assessment. Contact us to discuss your specific timeline and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can I Choose My Caregiver?

Oftentimes, yes. Many clients are able to choose a loved one, relative, or friend as their caregiver, with limited exceptions. We also work closely with families to match each client with a caregiver based on their needs, preferences, schedule, and personality. Your loved one's comfort matters to us, and if a match is not the right fit, we'll work to find a better one.

We offer five core service programs — each tailored to different needs. Personal Care Services cover hands-on daily assistance. Supportive Care Services cover practical household and lifestyle support. Respite Care provides relief for family caregivers. VA Care is coordinated specifically for veterans. Home Care Services is our comprehensive program combining all of the above.

What Is Home Health Care?

Home health care is professional support provided to clients in their home to help them function safely and independently in daily life. It covers needs like symptom and disease management, medication management, mobility support, and home safety all delivered by trained, certified caregivers.

We're a minority female-owned, Medicaid-certified agency committed to culturally sensitive, personalized care. We employ individuals with disabilities, conduct daily monitoring and reporting, and match every client with a caregiver based on their specific medical, cultural, and personal needs. How Much Does In-Home Care Cost?

For most families, in-home care is fully or partially covered by insurance so out-of-pocket costs are often minimal. The exact cost depends on your loved one's condition, care plan, and insurance coverage. We'll review all of this during your free assessment so there are no surprises.

How Are Your Personal Care Workers Screened?

Every PCW completes a rigorous hiring process before being placed with any client, including a full application, thorough background check, reference check, competency testing, and in-person interview. Your loved one's safety is non-negotiable.

What Training Do Your Caregivers Receive?

All caregivers receive thorough, condition-specific training before their first placement. We also conduct annual training to keep our staff current on emerging senior care issues, new care techniques, and best practices so the quality of care only improves over time.

What If The Caregiver Isn't The Right Fit?

We take caregiver matching seriously but if a placement isn't working for any reason, we'll reassign promptly. Your loved one's comfort and trust in their caregiver is essential to quality care. Just call us and we'll make it right.
